Friday, October 8, 7:00pm

McGoldrick’s initial influences growing up in the Boston area during the 60s and 70s were rock and roll and blues, listening to and trying to emulate great guitar players like Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Pete Townsend, Carlos Santana and all of the great guitar players of that era.  Eventually while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, his influences leaned more towards amazing Jazz Guitar players like Jim Hall and Joe Pass along with guys who mixed jazz with rock, like Lee Ritenour, Al Di Meola and his #1 Guitar influence of all time, Larry Carlton.  He would also have to include every guitar player Steely Dan ever used!  Lately he have been listening to contemporary blues guitar players like Robben Ford and Joe Bonamassa, who are both as good as it gets.
